Welcome Dear Doctor or Doctor-to-be,

“It is astonishing with how little reading a doctor can practice medicine, but it is not astonishing how badly he may do it.” Sir William Osler, in Books and Men.

Medicine is an art and science alike. Long hours of learning and burning of midnight oil. A never-ending saga, which knows only to begin. The whole journey of enrolling in a medical school to acquiring license to practice is challenging.

What makes it more difficult is conflicting information. Attaining residency and acquiring license to practice medicine involves several steps. It is often difficult to come up with the correct educational material for reference. As an examinee, sheer number of examinations amazed us. In retrospect, each of these examinations had a distinct and demarcated purpose. Each examination is offered in slightly different way, which is intended to judge different acumen and expertise.

While we experienced this hardship, we want to provide you with as precise and focused information and resources as we can.

At this time, TheUsmle.com is offering a structured and researched course preparation for Step 3 Computer based Case Simulations. In due course, we wish to expand the scope of TheUSmle.com to include Step 1, Step 2 CK, CS and Step 3 MCQs. Also provided here is a forum where you can exchange your concerns and views.

We thank and appreciate a large number of residents and fellows, working in different institutions for their solicited input.

We stand committed to impart you with the most accurate, precise and applicable resources to prepare for the USMLE™ Examinations. We endeavor to provide you with exactly what you need to ace the exams. Once again, we feel privileged and responsible for working with you, for you to excel.
