Dear Doctor,

If you said, the journey of becoming a doctor is a long one and requires enormous commitment, devotion and determination, we absolutely agree with you. Accept our hearty greetings for being what you are right now.

We are a group of seven physicians; most of us are residents and some of us fellows in different coveted training programs. As a matter of fact, most of us have a wonderful affinity with high nineties in all the steps. Quite honestly, the most painful part of the examination has been to choose the correct reference material.

Over the years, as residents, we have been able to apply theoretical medical knowledge to clinical use. Looking back, computerized case simulation of step 3 appears to be both very scientific and enjoyable. While we struggled to obtain the right reading material, we wish to provide you with case simulation exercises, which commonly appear in the exam.

The case simulations which appear on this website have been an outcome of extensive literature review and our clinical judgment. In an effort to provide you with contemporary and correct opinion, several reputed textbooks, journals and reference sources have been used. In medical practice, several management protocols are more or less standardized as a sequel to evidence based practice, while some other cases may not be as well standardized and response may not be as clearly reproducible. This allows varying management viewpoints and makes being a physician all the more interesting. As we advance in our careers and look forwards to be attending shortly, we feel privileged to be able to reach out to you.
