Frequently Asked Questions

 

TheUSMLE.com is extremely user friendly. Please take a moment to review the following frequently asked questions. This section is likely to provide you with all the technical information you may need for this site. If you cannot find the answer, please contact us and we will be more than happy to help you. Please allow 48 hours for a representative to get back to you. If possible, please also mention your telephone number as sometimes it might be easier and more practical to reach you by calling you. Your providing a telephone number will be deemed your permission to call you on that number.

LOGGING IN

I have difficulty Logging In to my account.

· Make sure to type correct username and password. The username and password is case sensitive.

· Make sure your subscription has not expired. If you have forgotten, you may check the welcome message sent by TheUSMLE.com

· Always use Internet Explorer 5.0+. The latest version may be downloaded from www.microsoft.com/ie

· Make sure popups are not disabled.

· We support AOL, Microsoft Internet explorer and Netscape. Occasionally Netscape users may encounter some logging in problems. We recommend using AOL or IE.

· After completing your session, make sure to log out.

· Mae sure you have not logged in elsewhere.

· Make sure that your browser supports JavaScript and always enable the JavaScript option. 

· You may occasionally require disabling and exiting any pop-up blocking and anti virus applications running on your computer.

 

PAYMENT AND SECURITY

What will be shown in my credit card statement?

Your subscription will be charged to the preferred global payment processing service and your credit card statement will show charged to CCAVENUE or AVENUES.

Is the transaction safe?

The transaction is done through highly secure payment gateway. Highest codes of security in the industry are used. The information you provide is transformed into highly encrypted and safe mode. This enables the processing of the payment to take place in real time and multiple currencies.

What payment methods can I use:

At this time, you can use your credit/ debit cards only. We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Citibank ecard and Diners cards.

When can I start using the site?

The transaction happens in real time. Once you have started your subscription, you will immediately receive a welcome email, which will contain your user ID and password. You may start using the website right after that.

 

SUBSCRIPTION

What are the course modules available?

At this time we only have USMLE Step 3 CCS course module. The subscription can be done for:

1 Month: USD 30.

2 Months: USD 40

4 Months: USD 50

Is my subscription transferable?

You cannot transfer your subscription to any other user.

Do I need to agree to terms and conditions before subscribing?

You will not be allowed to subscribe before accepting the Terms and Conditions. Also the use of any content in this website deems that you have read Disclaimer.

What if I want to use the account at two different computers at the same time?

Unfortunately, we cannot allow logging in from multiple locations at the same time. Be sure that you Log out from the first location before logging in from another. Attempts to do so may result in termination of subscription pursuant to Terms and Conditions of the use.

PASSWORD

What if I forget my password?

You may go to Forgot My Password and the information will be sent to you on your email ID that you provided us while subscribing.

What if I want to change my password?

You may change your password at anytime. However you need to send an email from the same email ID which you used to register, requesting a change of password.

MISCELLANEOUS FAQs

Is the content uptodate?

The contents in this site are uptodate and reflect the current opinion. However, the use of any of the contents is subject to the Disclaimer.

What If the session expires?

To increase your security, the session will expire after a period of inactivity. You will need to log in again.

Can I store the content or print the material?

Unfortunately we canot allow storage or reproduction of the contents. Except certain pages, you will not be allowed to print. You are not allowed to print the cases.

Enabling Java Script
If you have disabled JavaScript, you must re-enable JavaScript to log in. To enable JavaScript:
Using Internet Explorer 5+
On the Tools menu -> click Internet Options -> Click the Security tab -> Click Custom Level -> Scroll to Scripting -> Active scripting -> click Enable -> OK -> OK.
